Dear {FIRST_NAME},

Two men died and went to stand before St. Peter at the gates of Heaven. One of them was a New York City taxi driver and the other was a pastor.

St. Peter greeted the cab driver, asked for his name, and what he did with his life.

“My name is a Joe Hartunian, and I drove a taxi in New York City for 35 years.”

St. Peter looked through his book, found Joe’s name, and handed him a beautiful silk robe and a golden harp.

“Here is your reward, Joe. Come on in,” said St. Peter.

The pastor had watched this and thought, Boy, if a cab driver gets all that, what great things am I going to get?

Peter greeted the pastor, asked his name, and what he did with his life.

“I’m Steve Munday, and I was a pastor for more than 40 years.”

St. Peter looked at his book again, found Steve’s name and gave him a simple cotton robe and old scuffed-up harp.

“Here is your reward, Steve. Come on in,” said St. Peter.

He looked at his rewards and in shock asked, “This can’t be right. That guy drove a cab and got a silk robe and golden harp. I was a pastor faithfully for 40 year and all I get is this?”

St. Peter looked at his book again and said, “Yes, Steve, but when you preached, people slept. When Joe drove, people prayed.”

Just like Steve, you can do what you feel are the right things but if they lack effectiveness, then they are not worth it. You can have a web site, but if no one is coming to it, then you are doing something wrong. If visitors are coming to your site, but if nobody’s calling you, then you need to do something differently.

We would love to help you figure out what to do differently, whether it is redesigning your site, adding search engine marketing, or building out an effective email marketing program. Call us today at 720-922-3124.

WEB SITE SPOTLIGHT: JOHN FIELDER

John Fielder is Colorado’s premier nature photographer. We worked with the folks at John Fielder to get more sales on their site. We started with redesigning their home page with a Flash header containing 20 beautiful images, and put content on the home page to help with search engine optimization (something missing from their previous design). We also optimized the rest of the 900 pages on their site for the search engines. If you are in Denver, you should visit their gallery in the Santa Fe Art District.

WEB SITE SPOTLIGHT: BARTENDERS & MORE

Our client provides bartenders, servers and other services for events in the Denver area. Their previous site was simple and ineffective. We created a new logo for them, and then put together a site that looks and functions great. The site now has forms for getting a quote, as well as booking an event.

JUST FOR GRINS: FIND THE MAN IN THE COFFEE BEANS

This is bizarre. Take a look at the picture below and try to find the face of the guy in the coffee beans. After you find the guy, you’ll think, why didn't I see him immediately?

And, yes, the man really is there! If you still can't find it, there is a hint at the bottom of this email.

Please visit our site at www.GreenChair.net to see the many services we have to offer. Also, feel free to forward this to friends who might be interested in improving their online marketing strategies.
