A Returning Potential Client

A couple years ago a friend of mine suggested I get in touch with this dermatologist in Denver about redoing his web site. I looked at the site and agreed that it could use a lot of help with the design and the marketing. So I set up an appointment with the doctor.

The two of us talked through the site quite a bit but he was being so hostile and negative that I didn't want to do work for him. In the hundreds of appointments I had been on, nobody had ever talked to me the way he did. I think I did send him a proposal, but made it so high that he wouldn't accept. I never heard from him.

I got a call from his office today. They didn't know I had been in there a year or two ago. I was tempted to not even call, but I did. From what I could tell from the woman I talked with, the doctor hadn't changed at all. So, I declined helping them.

I'd hate to work in this guy's office. And I'd hate to have this guy's reputation, even among those in his office. And I'm glad I declined doing anything for them. People like him are just bound to cause too much aggrevation and misery to be worth any amount he was willing to pay.
