He's in the Other Building

I called technical support the other day of a company I've done business with for the last year. I had to make a change on something and was told I needed to talk with sales.

I asked where their offices were. He said Toronto, which I thought was in Vancouver, Washington.

I asked if he knew if the sales person was in and they guy said, "He's over in the other building".

So, I called this morning and found out that the sales guy was indeed in the other building--across the country of Canada and across the border in Washington.

I had a decision to make whether I was going to laugh or be angry about being deceived with the phrase, "He's in the other building." Technically, he was in the other building. I chose to laugh about it and realize we live in a big world that's getting smaller, and that teams can be in "the other building."
