Creating fresh content for your website and social media is one of the things I’ve seen for small businesses struggle with. The search engines love fresh content and so do the people following you on social media. Committing to content marketing is a great way to get more leads. We’d love to help you create effective content for your site.
Content Strategy
We will help with an overall strategy to help your marketing efforts. We start with a content audit. The audit will tell you what kind of content assets you have. From this, you will be able to see where you have holes that need to be filled. You’ll be surprised at what you have. With the content you already have we will discuss ways to improve it, supporting graphics and photos that would benefit the content, and ways to repurpose the content to help you distribute it more widely.

Content Development
This part will be the implementation of your content strategy. We will freshen your words and help you develop other content assets — like YouTube videos, LinkedIn long posts, Facebook photos, brochures, sales sheets, etc. Content includes writings, photos, illustrations, white papers, videos and more.
Ongoing Content
After developing the initial content for your site, the next step will be to create ongoing content to use in your marketing. The main content we will write for you is blog posts that can be used in the social media strategy and email marketing. Your visitors and search engines love to see fresh content.

10 Signs It’s Time to Update Your Website Design
An old client of mine emailed a couple of days ago about making updates to their site. I designed their site in 2010 and has never been updated. A lot has changed over 10 years. I think we all know if our website needs updating. We put it off because it seems like a...

Content Marketing for Local Businesses
The first content I wrote for the Internet was in summer 1996. Our team was building a website for Michelle Akers, the captain of the U.S. women’s soccer team at the Olympics in Atlanta. What I was doing was telling her story and helping her to connect with her fans....
Capturing Your Creative Ideas
About 25 years ago, I sat across from Larry, a graphic designer. He sketched a pair of salt and pepper shakers in his sketchbook as we talked. He told me he used the book to write down cool ideas, draw sketches, and glue in samples of things he liked. And it got me...
Combining Internet Marketing and Furniture Making
Over the last couple of years, I’ve had a side hustle of refinishing furniture and making large signs out of old fence slats. I’ve even converted an old piano into a wine bar. Things got more serious about a year and a half ago when I started working part-time for 4...
