Website Design
We’ve designed more than 250 websites since opening the doors of Green Chair in 2000. We love creating websites that cause a reaction. That’s what we want to do for you. We want to move visitors to action — through the design, structure, images, and content.
I’m sure you can find a less expensive designer for your site. No problem. But if you want a site that gets you results then it’s important to talk with someone with the experience and skills to produce for you a great site.
Take a look at some of the sites below and then call Dave at 720-427-5660 or fill out a form at the bottom of the page.

Air Cannons

We had been trying to get a presence on the web for a few years before I met Dave. He was able to take all of our information and create a web site, at a reasonable cost, that is everything we could have hoped for. I hope that our new web presence will be the extra kick our business needs.
Website Redesign
Redesigning your site is a great investment. Visitors will stay around longer, giving you a greater chance of making a sale.
A designer I know suggests updating your site every 18 months to take advantage of new technologies and to keep ahead of the curve regarding how information is displayed. One of the big things from the last several years is making sure your site loads quickly and is mobile friendly. Not doing this can get you penalized by Google and make a poor experience for your visitors.
Here are a few reasons to redesign your website:
- You had a neighbor kid design your site and it lacks the advanced design your competitors are enjoying.
- You’re tired of waiting two weeks for your web design company to make changes and then pay $125 an hour for those changes. You want to make changes to your site quickly and easily, and you’re not able to do that now.
- Your company has grown and there is some new functionality you’d like to add to your site.
- Your site isn’t mobile friendly and it’s hurting you with the search engines. Your visitors using phone or iPad are having a bad experience.

WordPress Websites
Almost every company that calls me wants to be able to manage the content on their website. You know — add new pages and change the wording on the pages. WordPress to be a great solution.
If you don’t know what WordPress is, that’s okay. Though originally started as a blogging software, WordPress has transformed into a system that allows people to easily manage their content through a system similar to Microsoft Word.
If you have an old site or have used a system like Wix or SquareSpace, we can convert it to WordPress. We can also update the design of sites that are currently in WordPress.
WordPress Training
If you already have a WordPress website but are having difficulty knowing how to use it — no problem. We can provide one-to-one training on how to use WordPress. We’ve done this with dozens of companies, both in person and remotely.
If you are in the Denver area, we can provide in-person training at your place of business. Just an hour or two will go a long way in helping you understand how to use WordPress.
If you are outside of Denver, don’t worry — we can still help. We can train you on WordPress through a one-to-one webinar (it would be fine to have more than one person from your company on the session). We will also provide you with a written guide that we’ve spent a lot of time developing.
Get in Touch with Me
I would love to talk with you about marketing your local business. Give me, Dave, a call at 720-427-5660 or just fill out the form to the right.

An old client of mine emailed a couple of days ago about making updates to their site. I designed their site in 2010 and has never been updated. A lot has changed over 10 years. I think we all know if our website needs updating. We put it off because it seems like a...

Before/After for Local 58
Doing a Before/After picture with your own design is a bit awkward. You can’t bash the previous designer because you were the previous designer. But that was over five years ago.
The new site is a vast improvement in design and function. It has a richer, more professional design and is mobile friendly. We also wrote some new content for the FAQ’s on the homepage.
Stay Away from Amateur Web Designers
Last week I got an email from someone who needed a site. Someone offered $500 to build them a site. That sounds like a good deal, doesn’t it? When I see a price like this I surmise the offer was by TGMBK (This Guy My Brother Knows) or a PFK (Pimply-Faced Kid). A...
What’s Your Website Worth to Your Company?
The woman on the TV show, Barter Kings, had to decide whether or not she was going to trade an army truck she had for a photo booth. The photo booth was only worth $3,500 and the truck was worth $9,000. You’d think it would be a no-brainer — who in their right mind...
